Working on a double degree at École Polytechnique de Montréal with École des Mines de Nantes in France, Elisa’s research project focuses on the analysis and optimization of patient transportation between healthcare facilities in Montréal. These transfers are really expensive with little optimization in this sector. The project aims to model the healthcare facility network with a simulation tool in order to test new scenarios regarding patient transportation and thus estimate the potential savings.
